Privacy Policy for Auri
Auri is a local-first shift scheduling application. This Privacy Policy explains how Auri handles information when you use the app.
1Information Auri stores
Auri may store the following information locally on your device:
- your profile name
- an optional avatar image selected by you
- scheduled shifts
- shift templates and shift patterns
- payday settings
- appearance preferences, including theme and language
- notification preferences and reminder settings
2How Auri uses this information
Auri uses this information only to provide the app’s core features, including saving your schedule, showing your shifts, remembering your settings, and sending local reminders on your device.
3Data collection, sharing, and sales
Auri does not require account creation.
Auri does not upload your personal data to a developer server in the current build.
Auri does not sell your personal data.
User-entered in-app schedule/profile data is not shared with our own servers in the current version of the app.
4Advertising and third-party SDKs
Auri uses third-party advertising services through Appodeal mediation to display interstitial ads and rewarded ads.
The current ad stack may include Appodeal and mediated partners such as AppLovin, BidMachine, and Unity Ads.
These advertising services may process:
- Advertising ID
- IP address
- device identifiers and device information
- network information
- diagnostic and performance data
- ad request, impression, click, and reward interaction data
This processing is used to request, deliver, measure, secure, and optimize advertising.

5Location and sensitive permissions
Auri does not request precise or approximate location permission in the current version of the app.
Auri does not request access to contacts, camera, microphone, or SMS.
6Optional permissions and user-selected content
If you choose an avatar image, Auri accesses only the image you select and stores it locally on your device.
If you enable notifications, Auri uses notification permission only to send reminders locally on your device.
If you use any import, export, or file-selection features available in your build, Auri accesses only the file or location you explicitly choose.
7Backup import/export
If the user chooses to export or import a backup, Auri reads from or writes to the specific file selected by the user through the system file picker.
8Data sharing
User-entered in-app schedule/profile data is not shared with our own servers in the current version of the app.
Advertising-related technical data may be processed by Appodeal and its mediated advertising partners as described above and under their own privacy policies.
9Data retention and deletion
User-entered app data remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears app storage, uninstalls the app, or overwrites it through restore/import actions.
If you create exported files or backups, those files remain in the location you selected until you delete them yourself.
We do not retain this local app data on our own servers in the current version of the app.
Third-party advertising partners may retain advertising-related data under their own policies.
10Security
We rely on standard Android platform storage and app sandboxing for locally stored data.
External privacy and support links are opened via the user’s browser over HTTPS where available.
11Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app changes, SDK changes, or legal requirements. The updated version will be published at this page with a new effective date.
